When is enough, enough? What if it was me? Am I next? We ask ourselves this question repeatedly when it comes to the subject of police brutality in America. As we all know, countless instances of this injustice devalued the existence of black lives for generations. But what if this injustice happened to you or someone you loved? How would you respond?

Sinners and Saint follows Tyler as he grapples with living in this unjust society. The short follows the death of Tyler’s brother Dion (Saint) or as he calls him ‘Saint’ at the hands of law enforcement. After Officer Marshall Jefferson, the man who killed Saint is wrongfully acquitted of his crime Tyler decides to take matters into his own hands. Sinners and Saint is a 20-minute short film that looks to capture a feeling most of us have regarding police violence. The film seeks to find the proper solution through Tyler’s experience if there is any.
